ASU Softball Game

Our softball league got to go to an ASU Softball game. Addie got to tour the facilities and meet the players. They all loved her because she is so small and so cute, plus she was decked out in ASU gear. Our t-ball team was the ASU Sundevils. Addie had a blast. It was a great day.

Oldy Moldy is 17!!

Kona(the one on the left) is 17!!. I adopted her 7 years ago from the pound when I was volunteering there for a spay day. She was on the euthanasia list because she was too old ( they estimated 10-12) and too ugly to adopt out. She had been up for adoption for 2 weeks and no one wanted her. So I adopted her, got her teeth cleaned and got her allergies under control.

She has been diagnosed with lymphoma and cushing's disease. All she ever thinks about is eating. She is almost completely deaf and blind and she has a huge tumor in her neck.

Last week after we got back from the groomers (or as Addie calls it, the barber) she jumped out of the back of the Jeep and knocked herself out. She would only walk in circles for about 10 minutes. Then all of the sudden she was back to normal. We call Kona "The ever lasting Dog". She has survived so much!

Of coarse Addie planned another party for her and she LOVED it! She loved the cake so much... she singed some of her hair off her face and ate a candle. Just prior to this Kai humped her and fell off the table. Dog parties are very wild!

Happy Mother's Day

Addie is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I never thought I wanted to be a mother... well I was wrong. I would rather be doing something with her than anyone else. She is such an amazing person and I am so proud to say I am her MOMMY.

End of Season

Softball Season has ended. We had a blast! Loved all the girls. They improved so much. At the end of the season we were doing coach pitch and the girls were making some hits. Addie even hit one at the last game! Now we get a break until cheer starts in the fall.

Montelucia

We stayed the weekend at the Montelucia Resort in Paradise Valley. It was amazing! Spectacular views! I had a great spa day getting a facial for my 30th birthday, while Addie and Dave swam at the pool. Addie's favorite part of the whole weekend was the shower. It was a huge walk in shower with multiple heads, one detachable. There was water everywhere! We had some great food and some much needed relaxation.

1st Race!

Addie had her first bike race this weekend. She did great. Almost crashed once, but had a great recovery. Daddy was so proud!! Addie loved it and can't wait to do it again.
