Cardinals VS Seahawks

This was Addie's first football game. She had a great time. We can take her anywhere and as long as she has food she is so good. She ate the entire time. She had chicken, fries, peanuts, suckers and a churro. She watched a lot of the game and asked a lot of questions. I hope she likes football as much as me someday. As for Dave... he is really starting to like the game and he is asking me less and less about it. He has really caught on. (Oh, Grandpa- her favorite team is the "pirates"!!)

CHRISTMAS

Christmas was awesome. Addie was totally in to it. She opened every present by herself, unlike previous years. She ood and awwd for every present. We think her favorites were the dollhouse and Wonder Pets Flyboat (only parents who watch Noggin nonstop will know who they are). Our whole day was very relaxing and entertaining watching Addie play with her toys and watching Dave play Guitar Hero!!




Addie really liked her stocking since it was filled with candy and Mermaid stuff!

This entire huge bag was filled with everything possible that is Mermaid. She got a suitcase,doll, bath set, bath towel, cd player, ball, pillow and some clothes. She went crazy over it all!

After all the presents we had homemade(kinda) cinnamon rolls. They were soooo yummy!!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Every year on Christmas Eve we all exchange pajamas and an ornament. Addie went totally crazy over her pajamas. It was Mermaid (of course)! As soon as she got it out of the bag she started hugging it and rubbing it all over her face all while saying," thank you, thank you, I love it, I love it". It was hilarious.

POO POO

Addie pooped in the potty tonight. YIPEE!!! I think we are going to venture out tomorrow with big girl panties. Hopefully my phobia of public restrooms has not rubbed off to much on Addie! In the past I have told her if she touches anything her arm will fall off!

Glendale Glitters

We took a small trip to the other side of town to see some Christmas lights. Addie is obsessed with Christmas lights every time we pass any and all lights she points them out and wants to know if we can see them.

In line for Santa.

She was not scared of Santa, but she was a little unsure. She told him she wanted toys and presents.

The best part about Santa was the Candy Cane!!

Back at the hotel with mommy's and baby's ice cream!

And best of all... Addie is still peeing in the potty!!! We took her potty to the hotel with us and she used it like she does at home.

Addie was not super cooperative. She just wanted to chase the ducks the whole time. So this is what we got...

Pee Pee in the Potty

Addie has been going pee pee in the potty for about 4 days now. She only wants to wear her Mermaid panties. We only have three pairs, so I am doing a lot of laundry. She's had some accidents because she waits until the las possible second to go.

Christmas Light Parade

We went to the Christmas Light Parade in downtown Phoenix. Addie really enjoyed all the lights and music.

Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for my cousin Britt. She is having a little girl in a few weeks. There will be lots of pictures of her to come! We had a great time at the shower. Lots of fun games and good food. My girlfriend April made the cake. Is'nt it so fabulous!http://designercakesbyapril.blogspot.com

Pedicures

All the girls in my family went to get pedicures for my cousins baby shower. This was Addie's first pedicure and she loved it. She picked out purple polish with green polka dots. She calls them,"my mermaid toes". She is obsessed with mermaids!! These are Addie's, my mom's and my toes. So cute!

Halloween with an almost 3yr old!!

Well... this is all Addie would wear of her 12 piece Halloween Costume. She was supposed to be Zoe from Sesame Street. She would absolutely not wear the head band, arm warmers or bracelet. Me being a perfectionist and a little bit OCD did not go well. I have really learned that you can not plan on anything with a toddler.

Halloween night was a lot of fun! We went to Tara, Chad and Lilly's house. We just ordered pizza and passed out candy out front. We decided to ditch the costumes because it was not worth the fight. The girls had a lot of fun putting candy in the other kids' bags.

Addie loves suckers. I think she picked out every single one of them. When we got home I sadly realized that there was NO chocolate for mommy.
