Happy Birthday Kai!

Kai is now 9! He was not so pleased with his low-cal celebration. We are trying to get a few pounds off of him before his 2 upcoming surgeries. He ruptured his ACL the day after we got back from Canada and he has to have bladder stones removed. Old Age SUCKS.

Addie went to a Princess Tea Party for her friend Audrey's birthday . Addie had a great time and she was so stoked that Ariel was there!!

1st Day Back at School

Canada

So, we were in Canada for the last 2 weeks of summer break. We went to visit family and friends, and to attend Dave's 10 year vet school reunion. The weather was perfect about 70-75! This was Addie's first trip back to Canada. The last time she was there, she was in my tummy. Addie is obsessed with Canada. When you ask her if she is Canadian or American, she always says Canadian. She can also spot a Canadian flag from a mile away!

Rainbow Beach- The water was so cold, but Addie didn't care. She had a blast with Canada grandma and daddy. They even found starfish and mussels.

Peggy's Cove- When we asked Addie what she wanted to do in Canada, she said "go see a light house". So we did.

Camping with our friends Shawn, Ainsley and their son Ryan. We had a camp fire and made smores. The kids played with sparklers while Shawn played the guitar.

We spent our last night with family and went out for sushi. Addie was the photographer for the night

San Francisco

So, we headed back to California last week. This time no driving! San Francisco is awesome! They have the best public transportation. We didn't even bring a car seat. We took subways, cable cars. double-decker buses and bikes. We had a blast. Beautiful weather.

Our camera broke on day 3 so here are the first 1/2 of the pics. We have had a string of things breaking around here. First the garage door came off the tracks, then the dryer broke, then the camera and now my phone. So annoying!! Once I get my phone fixed I can then upload the rest of the pics.

Coit Tower

We rented some bikes and biked from Fishermans Warf over the Golden Gate Bridge. Best time ever. Addie loved it. It was a four hour ride there and back. It didn't faze Dave at all but I sure was feeling it the next day.
