Cardinals VS Seahawks

We went to the Cardinals vs. Seahawks game again this year. Cards won!! We had a blast. Addie LOVES football. She ate so much junk food at the game, that she puked that night. She has had nothing but fruits and veggies all week.

Rockets with Grandpa

Grandpa and Addie assembled some rockets and shot them off last week. Addie is not so fond of the shooting off part, she likes chasing them after the parachute pops out.

Also, Addie dressed herself. When she dresses herself the outfit is either all one color or all stripes!

Halloween Weekend

We had a great Halloween weekend. My parents were here along with my aunt,cousin and niece. We carved some really awesome pumpkins. Dave made a freehand mickey mouse and dad made a cat. We did some trick or treating and ate some yummy homemade chili. Adaline was a pink unicorn and Kherington was a bumble bee. They were so stink'n cute!!

OH CANADA

So, instead of a Halloween Party, Addie's school has an International Lunch. The kids dressed in their national attire and made flags. They did a parade around the school and then sang some really cute songs. Each family had to bring a national dish. I made Canadian Maple Pecan Tarts. They were a hit.

Schnepf Farms

We went to Schnepf Farms this weekend with my parents, aunt and niece. It was great fun. Addie is now old enough to ride most of the rides by herself. We had a good meal and got a cute little pumpkin. Addie even got her face painted!

Poor Kai

This was Kai's big chance at redemption and he failed. Once again... another dog walk, where Addie got booted out of the stroller!

UTAH

We went to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, UT, last week. It was so beautiful!! We hiked for 2 days straight. Addie loved being in the back pack. She ate, drank and slept in it. We hiked down and up Bryce Canyon which is at 8000 feet elevation. It was a tough one. We started out hiking with about 20 other people and we were the only ones that finished. We had a great time. The weather was perfect. Here are a few of the over 300 pics that we took.

We also visited Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab UT. They have over 4000 acres with the most amazing facilities. They have 22 of Michael Vick's dogs and hundreds of Hurricane Katrina survivors. They are a no-kill shelter that finds forever homes for all types of pets. It is amazing. We became members and we are going to start volunteering there every year.
