Swim Videos

Swimming lessons have been going great! Addie now swims above water, below water, floats and she can dive to the bottom of the pool! She even does a mermaid swim. I know what a shocker!

Grandma and Grandpa sent her this Nemo a few weeks ago and she loves it. We have ran out of batteries, now she just swims with it above her head like a shark.

Florida

Magic Kingdom was our favorite. It is just like Disneyland. They had a ton of stuff for Addie to do. We spent 2 days here. Addie got to meet Ariel. She was actually in shock. She could barely even talk, and Addie has not stopped talking since her 2nd Birthday! She loved meeting Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. She talked to them for a good 5 minutes. She was the only kid in the room. They loved her. She kept talking about how she met Ariel. It was too cute!




After the 1st day at Magic Kingdom. We did not get home until after midnight.


The next few pics were at Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Hollywood studios was cool. They had Broadway shows of Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. They also had a live version of Mickey Mouse Playhouse.

The only thing really cool about Epcot was the Nemo ride and Canada Land. Addie and Dave got to see some of their Canadian peeps.


Dayton beach was awesome. We had more fun here than in Hawaii. The water was perfect! They waves were nice and calm for Addie to play in. We rented a little cabana and it was so relaxing. Addie found a ton of sea shells.


After the beach we went out to dinner and Addie slept through the whole meal!



Animal Kingdom was right up our alley. We got to ride a Jeep through a Safari. All the animals looked so healthy and happy. We then got to see the Animal Hospital. Very cool! We got to see another Broadway performance of Finding Nemo.

It was a great trip. Now we are just waiting for Addie to get to 40inches so we can ride all the rides at Disneyland!

Princess Ariel

Addie went to a Princess Tea Party for her friend, Lilly's, Birthday. Addie was , Ariel- The Little Mermaid. All the girls were so cute! She had a lot of fun.

Memorial Weekend

Saturday we went out on the boat again with Jaime, Brandon and Hayden. We took the girls out on the tube for the 1st time. They loved it, even though we were only going idol speed!
After the lake we raced home took showers and made homemade mac 'n'cheese and then headed over to Amanda and Terry's house for a BBQ.

Sunday we went to the Firesky Resort and went swimming in their beach pool and then went to Houstons for dinner.

Monday, I went out shopping for some Memorial Weekend sales and Addie and Dave hung at home.

All in all it was a great weekend.

Sorry

I have not posted anything in a while. It has been a very busy few weeks and I have been forgetting my camera. We have been looking at schools for Addie and we finally decided on a Montessori school. She will go 5 days a week for 3 hours a day in the fall. They have tons of animals- chickens, bunnies, turtles, birds, hamsters and fish. They let the bunnies run around in the classroom. It is like they made this school for our family. They have a huge flower and vegetable garden. We are so excited for her to go there!!

We have been going to swim lessons and Addie is doing amazing. She loves her swim teacher, Sherri. She talks about her all the time. She is almost swimming completely on her own!

We have been looking for a new car because the Prius was totalled Mother's Day weekend. Everyone is fine. We just picked up the new car yesterday, a VW Passat Wagon. Buying a used car is a lot of work!! Hopefully it will pay off not having a car payment!

We went to the lake this past weekend with some friends, Brandon, Jamie and Hayden, and had a blast. It was Addie's first boating experience. When we drove up to the lake she asked," are there any alligators, biting fish or sharks." It was so funny. She looked for mermaids the entire time.

Meg

Bisbee

We went to Bisbee AZ a few weekends ago for a 3 day stage race, La Vuelta de Bisbee. We had a lot of fun. Bisbee is a cute old mining town on the border. We ate at some awesome restaurants and had the best coffee!! It is better than Starbucks!! I know, I can't believe I said that out loud! Dave had a great time racing and he did really well. On the way home we stopped in Tombstone and saw some gunfights and ate at a Saloon. It was a great weekend.

Time with Grandpa

Addie, my dad and I went up North for a few days while Dave was in Portland. We had a lot of fun in the forest collecting pine cones and bottle caps. We had some good food and enjoyed the nice cold weather.
